Sacrifice Nothing Campaign

5-30 June 2021

In conjunction with World Environment Day on 5th June 2021, the Sacrifice Nothing campaign seeked to support the broader messaging of “Feeding the Hunger” as well as to “Kill Less Animals”. We encouraged consumers to eat less animal meat and adopt a more plant-based lifestyle. The event ran from 5th to 30th June 2021.

The Social Kitchen partnered up with The Vegetarian Butcher to appreciate and support these front liners through providing 50,000 tasty & nutritious plant-based burgers for free.

We rewarded and appreciated our front liners in view of their sacrifice during this challenging COVID-19 period. They included hospitals, community hospitals, non-governmental organisations, non-profits and charities.

Project Makan

April -June 2020

In light of the Covid- 19 situation, TSK started Project Makan with the support of YMCA where we successfully raised over $500,000 from donors to feed more than 100,000 children & their families daily, through working with SHINE Children and Youth Services to identify those most in need.

Project Makan also partnered Eat for Good, a collaborative initiative by NVPC’s Company of the Good that aims to bring stakeholders in the food and dining space together to make doing good a part of daily encounter.

Through Project Makan, we have transformed an under-utilised kitchen facility to a highly functioning one, producing up to 5,800 meals a day, almost overnight.
